Be a Pole Superstar Competitor!

We are now able to offer travel and transportation to and from the Pole Superstar competition for all finalists!

Deadline for submissions is August 7, 2009

This is your opportunity to show off your outstanding pole dance skills! For a chance at competing in the “Pole Superstar” competition on October 1st, submit a video today of you performing your repertoire of suspensions, spins and slides. In addition to showing off your hard-earned talents, you will be in the running for the grand prize, which includes more than $20,000 worth of prizes. Full Official Rules apply, please read them carefully before participating and submitting your video.

Pull out all the stops

On October 1st, six competitors will have the chance to demonstrate their creative routines, mixed with innovative costuming and props. With approximate 5-minute routines, you will have the chance to demonstrate your flexibility, dancing skills, athletic abilities and your gift for performing. You’ll also get the chance to have professional and artistic recognition in front of hundreds of New York’s trendsetters and glitterati, including a panel of celebrity judges.

Becoming a Finalist

From the submissions that are received, five finalists and 10 runners-up will be chosen by an internal panel of judges.

The five finalists will be notified by August 15th that they have been chosen to compete at the live show. If you are one of the five finalists, your photos and biographies will be posted on our website.

The 10 runners-up will have their audition videos posted on this website from August 15 to September 15 where the public can vote for one Online Superstar that will compete as our 6th lucky finalist at the live competition. The 6th competitor will be notified after voting closes on September 15th, and your photo and bio and will be added to our finalists page.

The Live Show

The grand prize winner will be chosen by the audience, who will text message vote for their favorite performance. If there is a tie by the audience voting, the celebrity judging panel will decide who the winner is.

Every finalist performing in the competition will receive over $100 in prizes and gifts. And for the pole dancer who has impressed the audience the most, the Pole Superstar Grand Prize winner will be honored with a huge range of fabulous prizes that include:

$10,000 cash
Custom-made limited edition Pole Superstar pendant & necklace designed by Jacob & Co.

Competition Qualifications

To qualify for the competition, you must be:

A resident of the U.S. or a valid green card holder (Not open to residents of TN or VT)
21 years of age or older
Able to safely execute pole tricks during a 5+ minute performance
Must be in the NYC area on October 1st to compete in the live competition

Competition Rules—Guidelines to keep in mind if you are one of our 6 finalists:

Videos and your performance will be disqualified if they contain any of the following:

sexually explicit, violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group, profane or pornographic, or contain nudity or simulated sex acts;
Promote illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing), any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous, or any particular political agenda or message;
Be obscene or offensive, endorse any form of hate or hate group;
Defame, misrepresent or contain disparaging remarks about Sponsor or its products, or other people, products or companies;
Contain trademarks, logos or trade dress owned by others, or advertise or promote any brand or product of any kind, without permission, or contain any personal identification, such as license plate numbers, personal names, e-mail addresses or street addresses;
Contain copyrighted materials owned by others (including choreography, photographs, sculptures, paintings and other works of art or images published on or in websites, television, movies or other media or musical "samples" other than the musical tracks provided) without permission;
Contain materials embodying the names, likenesses, photographs, or other indicia ident ifying any person, living or dead, other than entrant, without permission;
Communicate messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or goodwill to which Sponsor wishes to associate; and
Depict, and cannot itself, be in violation of any law
